Tacoma City Half Marathon May 4th, 2014

Half #11 in the books. PR by almost 2 minutes. Getting stronger!
This was a good race. Net downhill, which was wonderful.
The weather was perfect. The morning was a bit scary, but it cleared up!

rain go away

Towards the end of the race, I was pooped though. There were a couple of hills that just took it out of me. Including one right at the end. And to be honest, if I had gotten to the top of the last hill and didn’t see the finish line, I might have started crying. BUT, it was packed with people, and it was a downhill stretch. I was DONE.

Next stop Portland – 2 weeks!
